I'M A PLUM
WHAT'S BEHIND THE PHRASE THAT DEFINES US?
It’s a simple little sentence, but it packs quite a punch.
It means I am part of a movement to be honored for who I am now.
Not who I was when I had a smoother face, a smaller waist, or shinier hair. I have lived, and I am still ripe with potential.
I am juicy, I am wise, and I am full of wonder.
I am not a shriveled prune in need of additives or preservatives.
I’m a Plum and I know my worth.
WORDS MATTER
In the space between "girl" and "crone," are we
Cougars? Mature? Or are we just
"middle-aged and menopausal?"
None of these descriptors really capture us.
As women in our 40's, 50's and 60's, we are still vibrant and healthy. As we continue to grow and achieve during this season of our lives, it's time for a label that reflects who we actually are.
